On Sunday, April 6 the Morris Museum will
hold an auction of art work by professional New Jersey artists who have
exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the region. The auctioned items
will include two-dimensional and three-dimensional works representing diverse
artistic points of view. To assist both the novice and the seasoned collector,
the museum will host a panel discussion about purchasing and collecting
contemporary art at 3 p.m. A reception and the auction will follow the
discussion. The auctioned works may be previewed in the museum’s galleries
beginning March 25.
Tickets for the panel discussion are $10 for members
of the museum
and $15 for non-members. Tickets for the reception and auction will be $20 for
