My most recent commission was for a wedding gift for a couple with friends in the DC area. It was inspired by the Old Testament collection. Specifications as to size color and subject were provided in hopes to complement the newlyweds new condo -- with pale blue walls. Since the newleyweds had seen my work and expressed interest in the previous treatment of this subject I was asked to revisit it.

A young couple in a Los Angeles apartment was inspired by a favorite Shakespearean quote provided by the husband, an actor. It was designed to fit a specific location in their home and incorporate architectural detail surrounding the fireplace. The piece evokes an east coast landscape - verdant and fruitful and full of birds. Although a decorative centerpiece for their living area, is meant to capture a moment - and remind us of the timing necessary to take advantage of the opportunities that come along.
